If your goal is to stay centered and to not let your emotions overwhelm you,
just breathe. In any situation where you’re feeling stressed, angry, insecure or
unsure in any way, the best thing to do is to focus on your breathing.
No matter how others behave, you have no control over anyone but yourself.
To remain calm, focus on your breathing until you are able to act in a way
that is aligned with your values.
I have just started this and I feel so much more in control of my emotions. I think sometimes people do and say things just to got others angry and I use to get angry, now I just breathe.

Excellent advice!! Yesterday was this for me. My emotions were out of whack and I did take time to breath. It certainly helps. didn’t take it all away, but helped me keep it in check and be able to evaluate the situation clearer.
