I’m Coming Home

People come to me for a multitude of reasons but the core issue for many of them is feeling a disconnect from themselves and from life in general. They feel as though they are going through the motions but that little if any of their life is a reflection of their true self. Accepting that you have a disconnect, believing that there is more to yourself and having the courage to dig deep is one of the bravest things that any person can do. This was written with Spirit for them. The flowers in the picture are Forget-Me-Nots.

I’m Coming Home

Beneath the trauma
Beneath the guilt
Beneath the shame
I’m coming home
I know that there’s more
to me
than I can see.
Deep within
Is a heart ready to breathe free.
Opening to courage
Opening to possibilities
Opening to Hope
I’m coming home to me.

  1. What a lovely poem!

We may face a lot of distractions, missteps, and even opposition along the way, but nothing is more gratifying than coming home to our true Self, our spirit’s home.

Thank you, Victoria, for this inspiration.

  2. This blog post really resonated with me. Many times in my life, I’ve felt a deep disconnect from myself and what was happening around me. It can be hard to stay motivated and keep going in those situations, but it’s important to remember that there is still more inside of us than we think. I’m thankful for this post, and for the reminder that there is still hope and possibility. Thank you for writing it! 😉

  3. Victoria, beautiful. May I quote your poem sometime?

  4. What a beautiful post to start off the new year. I found that being present in my life instead of constantly worrying about the past or future brought me closer to my more authentic self. Great to see you here, my friend! ?

    • So nice to see you too, Elise. Loved your post today. I agree with you completely. It’s not always easy to be present but the more that I practice the happier I am.
